Besides having the Argentina Embassy right across the river, we have found another access to Argentina.
About 5 km from our apartment is the Crews Inn. We have been there a couple of times for dinner. It is also a Port of Entry for sailors (or yachtees) coming into Trinidad. They also have a small store. It would be a Duty Free store.
So Mimi put her best 'yachtee' outfit on and went into the store and bought 3 litres of Argentine Malbec for TT$85 (that's about 12 bucks). The packaging is very durable for. It came in a box.
It does have a shelf life and must be consumed within a year.
