Trini Boot
I came out one morning and found a neighbor's vehicle 'parked' in the apartment lot. It was in one of the laneways and not in a parking spot. What was different about it was the Trini Boot (the local version of a Texas Boot) locked on the wheel.
Attached to the window of the vehicle was a note saying 'Please contact apartment security to pay a fine of TT$100.' (about 15 bucks) to get the 'boot' removed.I think the embarrassment in front of your neighbors cost more.
